JOB DESCRIPTION:

Do you have experience of sourcing products on behalf of your company?
Understanding customer requirements and relaying those to suppliers in order to gain better value?

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to fill this maternity leave contact of approx 10 months.

Your daily duties will involve:

Maximising the value obtained in the purchase of goods and services for the category of expenditures assigned.

You shall:

Work in partnership with personnel to facilitate the application of leading edge procurement practices to realise value measured on:
Understand and inform oneself and the Contract team member(s) assigned to you, of the purpose of any supplies within the assigned categories of expenditure, their supply markets and of the environment in which those supplies are intended to operate/be used.
Ensure contracts are tendered and established in a professional manner, cost effectively and with minimum risk.
Develop and implement procurement strategies for the categories of expenditure assigned
Work in collaboration with colleagues to continually improve the contract development and management process.
