JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client are currently recruiting a Facilities Engineering Technician.
The primary objectives of this role are:
· Responsible for the hands-on running and maintenance of plant, utilities and equipment.
· Responsible for maximising availability of facilities, utilities & equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance as required.
· Liaison and co-ordination of external contractors to complete required maintenance or breakdown service.
· Hands-on role at trouble shooting/fault finding, maintaining equipment and plant related items to ensure the proper operation and service of equipment and utilities to plant standards.
· Develop a detailed understanding of all clean room HVAC, equipment, and utilities (e.g. purified water, boilers, chillers, compressors, sprinkler) to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
· Resolve technical issues in an effective & timely manner to support operations.
· Ensure equipment/systems meets the required legal, divisional and corporate standards.
· Generate, review and approval of validation/qualification plans, protocols, reports, amendments and other validation/qualification records.
· Support and implementation of projects as required.
· Ensure safety standards are met and safe-working practices adhered to.
· Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws, as well as the Abbott Global & Technical Standards.
· Operate all engineering functions in line with the plant quality policy with minimum supervision.
Requirements
A relevant third level qualification in Engineering and/or Senior Trades with 2years experience in a regulated environment
- The ability to work co-operatively and effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships.
- Possess highly developed interpersonal skills.
- The highest levels of integrity in the successful completion of your work.
