JOB DESCRIPTION:

Merchandiser/ Field Based- Upselling

Our client is currently recruiting for a Merchandiser who has experience in Sales/Marketing. The successful candidate will with the commercial team to develop the company with all their customers

The role requires a self-motivated individual with the tenacity and professional aptitude to significantly enhance the current customer base as well as identify and develop new sales opportunities when they arise.

Main Responsibilities:

To grow and Maximise sales for our client's Flowers with all retail customers.
To work with the commercial team on any new initiatives being launched.
To provide and present monthly reports on activity within your area.


Main Duties:

To develop relationships with Retail Area Managers.
To provide feedback to the commercial / technical team on a continuous basis.
To carry out customer service calls as required.
To ensure merchandising standards are maintained to the highest levels.
To assist in identifying new retail opportunities.
To represent the company to the highest standards at all times.
Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager
Person Specification

Educational Standard:
Leaving Cert
ECDL (desirable not essential)


Work Experience & Special Aptitudes:
Business development
Sales development – Proven results

Good product knowledge
