Position Description and Responsibilities
• The role is responsible for the proper execution of large multi disciplinary capital compliance and capacity expansion and equipment replacement projects.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
• Manage the projects in accordance with client objectives.
• To ensure health and safety of all internal and external employees working on projects under the control of the Project Manager whilst ensuring quality is maintained to required standards.
• Responsible for execution of the projects.
• That all current legal standards, GMP and compliance are met.
• Ensures that the excellent interdepartmental relationships are maintained with all other Company depts.
• Monitors and coaches the project team members to ensure that this objective is met.
• Maintain a continual focus on cost awareness.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and learning from project to project.
• Manage project expense and capital budgets.
Experience and Education
• Education - Academic degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Relevant courses in GMP, project management, process/design excellence and personnel management.
• Experience to be not less than 8 years in industry of which not less than 3 years in pharma/medical device industry & 5 years in a managerial role.
