JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client is Irelands Largest bookmaker and most successful online sports betting site and one of Ireland's fastest growing listed companies.

Overall Purpose of Job:
Under limited supervision provide system-level support / management of enterprise systems including installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance. Provide advice on best practice with regard to configuring, supporting and maintaining all UNIX and associated systems within our firm

Main duties & responsibilities:

* Supports maintain and develop the UNIX systems of the company
* Provide ‘out of hours’ support as required
* Manage the business applications and systems of the firm
* Build servers and software to their standards as necessary
* Assist in defining new standards in response to industry trends

* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritise own workload and work to exacting deadlines
* Flexibility and adaptable in their approach to customer and business needs
* Desire to learn about new products and keep abreast of new product developments
* Must have excellent customer facing skills
* Must have excellent follow-up skills

Education & Experience:

* Degree educated in an IT discipline
* Extensive experience with UNIX (Solaris / AIX / Redhat / CentOS)
* Apache webserver
* Tomcat
* Networking
* Cisco IOS
* Checkpoint Firewall
* Oracle
* MySQL
* Large E-commerce Systems
